I love the strange fierceness of this hummingbird image. If you've ever seen multiple hummingbirds at a feeder, you know they can be fiercely protective. This is the only black and white hummingbird Ive ever seen in Shipibo art, and it's highly unusual and potent. I see that as the power of discrimination and decision-making - a great power to have in these times.
