Transforming the Pain of Living with a Loved One’s Addiction

Transforming the Pain of Living with a Loved One’s Addiction

Thursdays, Oct 6, 13, 20, 7 PM – 8:30PM Central Time, on Zoom

(Classes are recorded, so you need not join live)

The pain of living with a loved one’s addiction can seem unbearable. You may feel buried and exhausted by fear, grief, anger, or guilt. You may feel powerless, or you may spend great energy trying to control your life and the life of the addicted person. Does this sound familiar?

This class will teach you how to navigate this painful situation and how to get out from under the pain. In shamanic language, this class will teach you how to “compost” your pain, transform it into personal power, and free you from those overwhelming energies.

This is not easy work; it’s not magic. To be honest, this class and this work is for those who have simply had enough of the roller coaster, the merry-go-round of suffering - and are ready to regain their life and their own power.

In this class I will bring together the best ideas and practices from the fields of addiction studies, psychology, and spirituality. Then, we will call on the ancient wisdom and effectiveness of shamanic healing practices. This is what makes this class unique.

You will leave the class with a greater understanding of your addicted loved one, and far greater compassion for yourself. The class will give you a safe space to express yourself and be heard. Ultimately, you will take on solid tools to help you live with less pain and more power.

A day before each class you’ll receive instructions for how to prepare for the ceremonial work we will do together.
